Welcome to French Matters.

Here, I shall post a menu or recipe that I have come across or one I can remember from my childhood in France. I shall include all my articles about French music.

For all those with an interest in anything French I am also going to start an occasional column on this site: a bit of gossip, news about French music and French influenced world music, food, the love-hate relationship between the French and English. A sort of letter from France.

Why don’t you email me any stories you may have? Anything at all: French restaurants which are really great (or ones to avoid), funny stories from your trips to France.

I will post all these on my blog where you can also discuss your favourite French music (or anything else).
